Earlier today, on 15 May 2026, the Customs Division at Dabala Junction led a successful destruction exercise of 195 bags of intercepted cannabis at the final disposal site. The operation was carried out in collaboration with the Environmental Health Unit of the South Tongu District Assembly, the Ghana Police Service, the EPA, the BNI, National Security, NACOC, members of the media, and community members from Akato. The exercise went smoothly, with all agencies working together to ensure the seized substances were properly disposed of in line with regulations.
