South Tongu District Assembly May Day Corporate Fun Games 2026 at the west Africa Football Academy (WAFA) Stadium, Fievie, was held on Friday, 1st May 2026 on the theme PROMOTING UNITY, WELLNESS AND PRODUCTIVITY THROUGH CORPORATE SPORTS, the district came alive with laughter, competition, and camaraderie as it hosted the May Day Corporate Fun Games, which was a well-organised event that brought together various institutions for a day of fitness, interaction, and friendly competition. Activities began early in the morning with the arrival and registration of teams, followed by an energising aerobics session.

The formal opening included an opening prayer, introduction of dignitaries and participating institutions, and goodwill messages from representatives of the Water Resources Commission, Star Life Assurance, and the Member of Parliament for South Tongu Constituency. The District Chief Executive also delivered welcome remarks.
The event featured the presentation of certificates and a variety of sporting activities, such as a sack race, a lime-on-spoon race, tug-of-war, football, and indoor games like bottle flipping. Participants competed enthusiastically, promoting teamwork and unity.
Outstanding performances were recognised with trophies and medals, including awards for the best football team, best volleyball team, and best table tennis player. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from a participating institution and a closing prayer.
Overall, the event was successful in fostering collaboration, promoting health and wellness, and strengthening relationships among participating organisations.
