Today, September 23, 2025, a significant milestone was achieved in the Dabala Junction Circuit when the District Physical Education and Health Coordinator (DPEHC), accompanied by the School Improvement Support Officer (SISO), witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hlevi D. A. Basic School and Badu Foundation, a UK-based NGO.
This partnership is aimed at fostering the growth and development of learners, with a particular focus on Physical Education, Sports, and physical activities, especially among girls. The collaboration is expected to have a positive impact on the learners, enhancing their overall development and well-being.
Under the terms of the MOU, Badu Foundation is expected to provide critical support to Hlevi D. A. Basic School in three key areas. Firstly, the Foundation will provide sports equipment and materials to facilitate the development of sports programs in the school. Secondly, they will deliver coaching and training programs to enhance the skills of learners and teachers alike. Lastly, the Foundation will support the development of sports infrastructure, which will provide a conducive environment for learners to engage in physical activities.
The MOU has a duration of five years, subject to renewal upon mutual agreement between the parties involved. This long-term partnership is a testament to the commitment of both Hlevi D. A. Basic School and Badu Foundation to improving the lives of learners and promoting sports development in the community.
The signing of this MOU is a welcome development, and it is expected that this partnership will yield positive outcomes for the learners, teachers, and the community at large.
