The D.C.E Hon. Seth Kwasi Agbi with the District Co-Ord. Director Setsoafia Kpenu and some staff of the Assembly today handed over some desks to Ghana education service. These desks would be distributed to schools in the District that currently lack adequate furniture, providing a glimmer of hope for countless students in the district. In presenting the desks, the DCE hope it would be used for its intended purpose.
Receiving the desks the District Education Director thanked the DCE for his overwhelming support and interest in education within the district. She hoped more of these supports will be made available so more schools could also benefit from this policy. The Education Director was accompanied by some head masters and teachers of some schools in the district to accept the donation made by the D.C.E.
One by one, schools were called up to collect their assigned desks. The expressions on the faces of the teachers were filled with joy, hope, and renewed determination. It was evident that these desks would not only serve as physical objects of comfort but also as catalysts for improved learning environments.
The gratitude in the eyes of the headmasters/ teachers was immeasurable.
The DCE’s support has not only addressed a pressing issue in our education system but has also instilled a renewed belief in the power of compassion and communal support. It is a reminder that change is possible, even in the face of adversity. This gesture has highlighted the crucial role that leaders play in improving the lives of their constituents, particularly the most vulnerable.
As I conclude this journal entry, I am filled with gratitude and hope. Gratitude for the kindness displayed by Hon. Seth Kwasi Agbi, and hope for a brighter future for the students of our District. Today, I witnessed the power of one person’s actions in igniting change, and I am inspired to make a difference in my own small way. Together, we can create a community where every child has access to an excellent
Education and the opportunity to thrive.
