The workshop highlighted the significance of effective performance appraisals in enhancing employee productivity and organisational performance. It also emphasised the importance of completing the well-structured performance appraisal form of the Local Government Service, as this helps management in decision-making processes.
The Training programme was opened with a prayer said by one of the participants. This was followed by a brief introduction of the participants and facilitator by Madam Florence Twiaku, the Human Resource Manager of the Assembly.
Mr. Siibu Imoro Braimah, the District Co-ordinating Director, welcomed the organisers and participants on behalf of the District Chief Executive.

The DCE, in turn, encouraged all participants to take the teachings seriously. She also urged all staff to be punctual at work, especially on Mondays and Fridays. She further stated that all staff should always dress decently, while the men keep their beards neat.
In addition, she spoke about making the Assembly`s Choir vibrant and encouraged Heads of Department/Units to make the working environment fun for all to deliver better services.
