The South Tongu District Assembly has been at the forefront of supporting persons with disabilities (PWDs) in the district. The assembly has been implementing various programs and initiatives to improve the lives of PWDs and create a more inclusive society.
One of the initiatives that the assembly has implemented is the provision of financial support for PWDs to improve their lives. The Assembly has also been supporting PWDs through the provision of vocational training and employment opportunities.
